Dakota had a mission she was going to get it done. She was on her way to hopefully show how brave and a strong pack member and hopefully they would see and she would move her way up. She headed out of the tunnel she looked out and up at the full moon that was in the sky. She breathed deeply in and let out a long breathe to prepare herself a bit. She jogged out and trotted down the long path, it seemed like a long path. She has been to the Asylum before but never in it. She knew crazy people used to live in these things. She saw the dark building in the distance. It seemed to radiate cold, creepy and old. She finally got up to the large building looking at its large open door.
It was much bigger and eerie in person and at night the full moon just added to the creepiness. She tried to regulate her breathing. She will not run from this stone and mason place. It is just a building nothing is in there. She told herself hoping it was true. Her fur on her neck was up and her ears were perked as much as she can stand them straight up. She walked in looking down the hall and occasionally to the sides. She noticed doors that were open and some rooms with beds. This place stunk like medicine, old mildew and death. That just sent shivers up her spine. She continued seeing a door and stairs. The moon light from the top of the stair case lite the way the fog of her breath shown in the light. She walked up the stairs one step at a time. Her toe nails clacked with each paw. This place felt colder to her then outside. The second story wasn’t that bad she looked in rooms and found tvs and other human things. She thought it might be a nice place if cleaned up a bit. You can feel a breeze through the building it was barely there but she could feel it. This also made a noise like whispers or at least she hope it was the breeze. She shook her head and continued on to the third floor. This floor was dirtier then the last two. She would have sworn she saw a person in one room but quickly walked past it. Thinking about if it came to touch her she may flip in all kinds of ways. She just kept walking she pushed to door open as she walked down the hallway. She got to the last set of stairs and looked up. She was almost happy to say she was going to be on the fourth floor. She laughed silently to herself.
This floor seemed worse on this floor then others. She passed a room and a noise happened she jumped her hair up in every place and she felt like running instead she froze. Her eyes widened and she peered into the room that the noise came from. It was only a bird that probably was spooked as much as she was. Her heart now can slow down she panted nervously. She was a large dog doesn’t mean she was fearless. She continued to walk forward getting closer to what she assumed her goal. She placed her paw down several steps away and a door slammed shut behind her. She did not bother looking back and she swallowed large gulp of air and moved on. She went to this large dark room ahead. She definitely feels the cold air fly into her nose and down her lungs. She was cold to the bones. The moon light it the chair in the middle of this large room through the grimy windows. She got closer and it was a doll on the chair. She sniffed at it. It was old and smelt the way it looked. Turning up her lip at the smell and then sneezed which echoed through the room. She looked around getting used to the eerie silence and the odd vibes and saw the hammers and picks on this metal thing. She sniffs at them making sure there was no kinds of chemical that she could smell. She gave a sigh in trying to figure out if when she grabs this will something happen. She places her mouth around the hammers handle. Then picks it up being big it felt light to her. She then new she was ready to leave this place. She didn’t full on sprint out there but she did a fast gate out of the asylum. She would not miss the place. She was relieved to leave that creeptacular place behind and she headed back to the sewers to give Atro her present. She was just over the hill to the sewer entrance. Her head and tail held high. She was proud she got what she needed to do. The task seemed easier then she thought but maybe he had more for her to do. She entered the sewers and headed right to Atro’s area of it. She stepped in and saw him. She acted as respectful as she could. She placed the hammer near his feet and she bowed. ”The hammer in the asylum” she spoke loud enough for him to hear but not to loud to be rude. “Good. Now leave. I’ll decide soon” Atro said in his accent. “Thank you, sir.” Dakota nodded respectfully and left his area. She didn’t know what lies waiting for her in the next day.
